How is the class set up?
Every week day there will be two journaling prompts and two technique/visual prompts with examples and explanations. You’ll have the choice to pick one journaling prompt and one technique prompt and mix match and the ideas to make two or more scrapbook layouts.
By the end, you’ll have ideas for 30+ layouts. In addition to the prompts/ideas, there are videos, a tutorial for creating vintage handkerchief albums, and printable embellishment sheets!
I won’t have time to work on the class for awhile, is that a problem?
Not at all! This is a PDF which you can save to your computer and print at anytime.
I’m an art journaller, not necessarily a scrapbooker. How is this different from your other classes?
All the prompts and ideas can interpreted for a sketchbook or art journal type format. The set-up of this class is the same as past classes, but my examples for This & That are of the random, loose, singular pages variety.
My scrapbooking style is very different from yours, will I have a hard time creating with the prompts?
You shouldn’t. Most of the prompts are pretty specific, but can be interpreted in so many different ways. There is an emphasis on found materials and creating with what you have!
Do I need special products or equipment?
Most of the products and tools used in the class are things the average art journaller or scrapbooker would have on hand already. There are a few more unique items, but if you have access to an antique mall and an art store, you should be just fine. I also offer online resources for more obscure products.
